IT Support Across Long Island: Areas We Serve

Tech Team Bravo is a Long Island IT company based in Wading River, with an office in Patchogue. We look after medical practices and small businesses across Suffolk County and Nassau County: the help desk your staff calls, the security that keeps patient and client data safe, and the HIPAA paperwork that proves it.

Most problems get fixed remotely while your team keeps working. When something needs hands on equipment, such as a new office, a network closet or a server, we come onsite.

  • IT leadership: a technology roadmap, budget planning and an experienced advisor for the big decisions.

Why local IT matters on Long Island

Much of Long Island’s healthcare runs through a few large systems, including Northwell Health, NYU Langone Health, Catholic Health and Stony Brook Medicine. Which ones your practice works with depends a lot on where you are, and each comes with its own portals, logins and referral steps. An IT team that knows the local map spends less time figuring out your setup and more time fixing it.

New York law matters too. The SHIELD Act (General Business Law 899-bb) requires any business that holds New York residents’ private information to keep reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. A practice that complies with HIPAA is treated as compliant. Small businesses can scale the safeguards to their size, but they still need them. We help you get there and keep the records that show it.

Tech Team Bravo took on its first clients in 2011 and has been a registered business since 2014. It is led by founder James B. Mahon Jr., a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
